NaNoWriMo Write-Ins and Open Mics

During the month of November, the Hannibal Writers Guild is partnering with Quincy Books to bring you NaNoWriMo Write-Ins and Open Mic Nights. You don't have to be a member to participate, and all events are free to the public.

On Thursdays throughout November, come to one of our NaNoWriMo Write-Ins. Bring a work-in-progress and sit down with other area writers to write. Challenge someone to a writing sprint, ask for advice, or sit quietly and absorb the talent of your peers for inspiration.

Write-Ins will be on November 1st, 8th, and 15th from 5:00-6:30PM at Quincy Books in Quincy, IL.

Once a month on Tuesday come to our Open Mic Night. Bring something you want to share and read it out loud for everyone to hear. All ages, skill-levels, and genres welcome, with the exception of erotica. To reserve a time slot, message the Hannibal Writers Guild facebook page the Monday BEFORE the event. We will take unscheduled walk-ins if we have time, but cannot guarantee we will have time available, so please reserve your spot if you want to participate.

Open Mic Nights are currently scheduled for November 6th and December 4th from 5:00-6:30PM at Quincy Books.
